Present:  Cathy Kuchinski, Judy Murdoch, Daniel Webster  & Stephanie McSweeney (Peter Jones late due to a meeting with Capital Improvements).  Executive Secretary Winn Davis and Management Assistant Meredith Scozzari also present.

Reviewed and made recommendations on the following articles:

Article 11 – Street Safety – Sidewalks - $56,000.00
MOTION by Kuchinski, second by Murdoch to recommend.  Voted  4 – 0.

Article 14 – Historical Commission – PCH Historic Design - $8,000.00
MOTION by Kuchinski, second by McSweeney to recommend.  Voted  2-1-1 (Webster against, Murdoch abstained)

Article 15 – Petition Article – PCH Historic Design. - $8,000.00
MOTION by Kuchinski, second by Murdoch to Passover.  Voted  4 – 0.

Article 18 – Roller Coaster Road – Accept Report – An amendment will be made to the article to encompass Lakeside Road in the original article.
MOTION by McSweeney, second by Murdoch to recommend article as amended.  Voted  4 – 0.

Article 19 – Roller Coaster Road – Engineering - $75,000.00
MOTION by Kuchinski, second by Murdoch to Passover.  Voted 4 – 0.

Article 20 – Finance – Transfer remainder to Stabilization – $250,000.00
MOTION by Kuchinski, second by Murdoch to recommend.  Voted  4 – 0.

Article 22 – By-Law Committee – Zoning issue
MOTION by Kuchinski, second by Murdoch to referred to Town Meeting.  Voted  4 – 0.

Article 23 – ZBA – Tower By-law
MOTION by Kuchinski, second by Murdoch to recommend.  Voted  4 – 0.

Article 25 – Finance – By-law change 30 to 60 days
MOTION by Kuchinski, second by Murdoch to Passover.  Voted 4 - 0

Article 35 – Events Committee – The Recreation Committee assured Cathy Kuchinski that they will oversee the activities outlined in the article.
MOTION by Kuchinski, second by Murdoch to Passover.  Voted  4 – 0.


Town Clerk requested that the Board vote the Polling hours for Presidential Election
November 7, 2000 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Maquan School.

MOTION by Kuchinski, second by Murdoch to set polling hours are 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on November 7, 2000.  Voted  4 – 0.

Peter Jones arrived

Memorandum of Agreement from Mass. Highway for Chapter 90 funds.

MOTION by Kuchinski, second by Murdoch to sign the Memorandum of Agreement with Mass. Highway.  Voted  5 – 0.
